The Candles never burn down.
Mar 1 2007, 1:31 PM EST There is a church but no minister. Drinking iodine will not cure radiation sickness, unless you consider the dead healthy. It is poison. People are awfully clean and well-coiffed for the end of the world. No barber has yet introduced himself. The barmaid ain't gettin rich running a free establishment. No one ever pays. The blackjack guards were firing at the fleeing Satellite from less than 100 feet away and no hits to the tires, gas tank or windows? That's typical hollywood I know. 5 out of 7 found this valuable. RE: The Candles never burn down.
Jun 10 2007, 11:25 PM EDT There is a minister. He was there when the refugees were being forced to leave. He said they could all stay in the church and Gray counters with How are you going to feed them? So, there is a minister. Radiation emergency (potassium iodide thyroid protection) http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/natural/patient-iodine.html Potassium iodide (KI) can be taken in the setting of radiation exposure in order to reduce levels of radioactive iodine uptake by the thyroid, thus reducing the risk of later development of thyroid cancer. It is important to note that KI does not provide immediate protection from radiation damage, and does not have protective effects against other complications of radiation exposure. KI can serve as a part of a general strategy in cases of radiation emergencies, in conjunction with shelter and control of foodstuffs. Many radiation emergency kits include KI. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

One Man's Terrorist
Aug 20 2007, 1:11 PM EDT Actually, there is a minister. He shows up in "One Man's Terrorist" trying to protect the "refugees". In the same episode, just as a matter of trivia, in the first shot of Roger walking away from Jake, heading out of town, there is a burning oil drum in the right background, beside the blue cars.. When the camera moves overhead, the oil drum is not burning anymore. :D First blooper I've ever found on my own!! GO JERICHO!!! Do you find this valuable? |
