Roger and the Light

From the episode Blackjack: Roger tells Emily about what happened to him on his way back to Jericho. He remembers passing out in a field in Nebraska thinking that he was going to die there. He then remembers seeing a light with a ring around it and he followed it for about 2 miles when he fell right into a refugee camp. Roger believes that this light saved his life.
There is an interesting parallel with this story and the 1856 Battle of Blackjack which John Brown the abolisionist played a part...Read a quote of John Brown's:"'T is time...New hopes should animate the world, new light
Should dawn from new revealings to a race
Weighed down so long."
I bet Roger will play a big part someplace...somhow...and it will have to do with being a "new man"!

He did play a big part in "One Man's Terrorist". He always thought of himself only. In the above-mentioned show he thought more of the "visitors" and called them "his people". In a way he plays a Moses figure...though he has been exiled and "his people" get to stay! Do you find this valuable?
