I am a fan of post apocalyptic, WW3 and alternate history style stories. Movies like Mad Max, The Day After, Def-Con 4, Dr. Strangelove, The Terminator, Damnation Alley, and atomic bomb test videos on the web, etc. They are quite impressive. You will like to see Tzar Bomba, russian nuke test online video. I like the book called Famine. Stories like aliens invading during the heigth of WW2, etc. My favorite atomic history websites are the "Civil Defense Museum" and "CONELRAD".
I like Jericho like many others do, because the threat of nuclear/atomic attack was/is a very real and intimidating scenario which has become an important part of our culture and history. Most of us older people(35+) lived through and remember "duck and cover", and the nuclear build up and atomic testing from the late 40's through the 80's. That is why Jericho is so interesting to me.
